Greenways Family Medical Centre was started in Lovemore Heights, Port Elizabeth, by Doctor Gys Roux in 1990. He had a vision of creating a medical practice which would cater to the needs of the whole family. Shortly after this, he was joined by his brother, Doctor Francois Roux. A few years later, Doctor Werner Stindt and Doctor Hannili Dreyer followed and, in continuing the theme of a real family practice, the latest addition to the team is Doctor Marieke Roux, Doctor Gys Roux’s daughter.

The practice’s mission is to provide quality medical services to the community and to create a space where all patients feel welcome and cared for.
